Who we are
Glimpse (“Glimpse,” “we,” “us”) is an event film camera app operated by Reize LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Glimpse iOS app, the Glimpse App Clip, and our websites (viewglimpse.com and join.viewglimpse.com), and how we handle it.
The short version
– We collect only what we need to run your events: your sign-in details as a host, the photos taken at events, and basic technical data.
– Guests can join an event without creating an account.
– We don’t sell your data, and we don’t show ads.
– Photos belong to you and your event. You can delete them, and deleting an event deletes its photos.
Information we collect
Hosts (app account)
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we only see the private relay address. We use this to create and secure your account and to associate your events with you.
Guests (no account)
Guests join an event by scanning a QR code or opening an invite link – no account, email, or phone number is required. We store only the display name a guest chooses to enter and a temporary session token that links their photos to the event.
Photos and event content
Photos captured at an event are uploaded to our storage so the host and (depending on the event’s settings) other guests can view them. We also store event details you provide, such as the event title, date, cover image, and settings.
Purchases
Optional upgrades (such as larger guest limits or unlimited shots) are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We receive confirmation of the purchase but never see your payment details.
Technical data
Like most apps, we receive basic technical information needed to operate the service: device type, OS version, app version, language, and IP address (used transiently for connections). We use Apple’s standard services for push notifications if you enable them.
What we don’t collect
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
How we use information
– To operate events: storing and showing photos, enforcing event settings (reveal times, shot limits, guest caps).
– To secure accounts and prevent abuse.
– To send notifications you’ve opted into (for example, when your event’s photos are revealed).
– To provide support and improve the app.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Where your data is stored
Photos and event data are stored with our infrastructure providers in the European Union. Account authentication is handled by our database provider. Our service providers process data only on our behalf and under contractual safeguards:
– Apple – sign-in, push notifications, and purchases
– Supabase – database and authentication
– Contabo – photo storage (EU data centers)
– Expo / EAS – app delivery and hosting of the invite pages
How long we keep data
– Photos and events stay until the host deletes them or deletes the event.
– Host accounts stay until you delete your account.
– Guest sessions are tied to a single event and serve no purpose after it ends.
– Backups and logs are retained briefly and then rotated out automatically.
Your rights and choices
You can:
– Delete photos or an entire event directly in the app (deleting an event removes its photos).
– Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
– Request a copy of your data by contacting us.
– Disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA – including access, correction, deletion, and portability. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Guests’ photos
hotos taken by guests at an event are visible to the event host and, if the host enables it, to other guests of the same event. If you appear in a photo at an event and want it removed, contact the event host, or contact us and we will assist.
App Clip
The Glimpse App Clip lets guests join an event instantly without installing the full app. The App Clip handles the same data as the guest experience described above – a chosen display name and the photos a guest captures. Nothing additional is collected.
Children
Glimpse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Guests under 13 should only participate in events with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to production systems is restricted, and photo storage uses signed, time-limited upload URLs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data with industry-standard measures.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of Glimpse after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
